100th Post!

This post is my 100th post! :) Pretty snazzy, huh?

Monday and Tuesday are the days where I can fit in school and get some other things done as well. Lately, I've had so much to do that my Mondays and Tuesdays are almost as busy as my SMASH days! After I finish my school today, I'm going to walk the dog, workout at the gym, possibly get my hair trimmed by a friend, paint my nails (in honor of Valentines day), put up Cast B's biographies, and have bible study.

Another Cold

So, I just got over my cough, right? Well, I now have another cold. It's not as bad though. This time it's just a nose cold. Yesterday and today I was achy though. Ibuprofen helps get rid of the ache.

On Saturday during SMASH, Anna, Billy, Seth, Colin and I went downstairs and did a push up contest. Anna won! She did about 48 pushups, Colin (he came in second) did 38, and Seth and I tied at 20 pushups. Billy was the judge so he didn't compete. He can do atleast 70 pushups.

Today I'm going to babysit for about two hours and then when I get home I'm going to put the biographies for SMASH on the website! I'm also expecting to get the SMASH portrait prints either today or tomorrow!

Success!

Billy's hair was a success! Here is a picture of him with his red hair.

I'm hoping we'll get to gel and part his hair for the play.

Tonight Mom, Dad, Billy, Sarah, Anna and I are going to see Almost Maine by CLT. I think it's a comedy with some romance in it.

Dying Hair

Today I dyed Billy's hair red. It's a natural, auburn looking red though. :) I dyed his hair and let it sit for 25 minutes but Billy wanted to take a shower. He didn't use soap but I think the hot water washed most of the dye out so, I dyed it again! We're letting the dye sit for 45 minutes this time and then he'll rinse his hair with warm water and then put a special conditioner in it for two minutes. I dyed his hair brown last year and it worked just fine. I hope this second try will work. :)

Beyond Sore

On Monday afternoon I worked out. I hadn't worked out for almost three weeks because I was busy with SMASH and I had a cough for two weeks. I am finally over my cough! I did a core work out on Monday. It was a little tougher than usual but not too bad. I got tired sooner than usual though. The next day I was SO SORE! I'm still quite sore but not as bad. It'll be interesting to see how I do at SMASH.

Today I ordered the prints for the SMASH portraits. I can't wait to see them when they come in. They turned out pretty well!

Superbowl

On Sunday after church, we had Grace, Millie, Kevin, Calvin, and a girl that's beginning to come to our church named Erin over at our house.

When we got home we all ate a small lunch which pretty much consisted of bagels with cream cheese, peanut butter or butter. Everyone except Grace and I watched Amazing Grace. Grace and I walked Doug and then made an Oreo dish. When Amazing Grace was over we all played Dutch Blitz for awhile. That was super fun! We played Spoons and I won. :D

When we got to the Morris' we had a prayer meeting for about an hour. When the prayer meeting was done we watched the football game. I don't exactly understand the rules of Football so I mainly cringed or cheered when there was a tackle... I was rooting for the Patriots because I didn't really know anybody who was rooting for the Giants. Of course, the Giants won... The Patriots were winning most of the game though, I think. The half time show was freaky. One part that we noticed with looked REALLY strange was a dance move that a guy did.

A Little SMASH Here, a Little SMASH There

Today we are doing one of my scenes in SMASH today! :D I'm really excited! It's a pretty funny scene! After SMASH, Anna is spending the night and we are giving her a ride to SMASH tomorrow. Since opening night is coming up at the end of this month we are having rehearsals Wednesday through Saturday.

Yesterday, during SMASH Tucker took all the guys downstairs to have a "man talk" and when they came back up stairs, Tucker had all the girls playing guys go on stage with some of the older (more manly) guys and shake forearms and say, "hello" (no, not hands, forearms) in a manly way. It was rather entertaining. :) Yesterday's rehearsal was very productive. It is going to be AMAZING!

My cough is almost gone! You know what that means? It means working out!! I think on Monday I'll start working out again. I never realized how much I really enjoyed working out and getting stronger until I wasn't able for two weeks. I'm sure I could have worked out but it's not recommended. I probably would have had major painful coughing fits if I worked out with this cough.

There are some songs which are just perfect for playing REALLY loud. One of those songs is called Secrets by OneRepublic.

The Play is Coming Up!

We're performing Much Ado About Nothing THIS month! THIS MONTH! I'm really  excited! I probably should give y'all the details...

The Southern Maine Association of Shakespearean Homeschoolers (SMASH) presents: Much Ado About Nothing! Come see one of William Shakespeare's most loved comedies that the whole family will enjoy!
